Chetwood Bank — your new home for your savings
What’s changed?
Your SmartSave savings account has now become a Chetwood Bank savings account.
By consolidating all our savings accounts onto a single Online Banking system under the Chetwood Bank brand, we’ll be able to enhance the efficiency of our operations—allowing us to improve the service we offer you, whilst providing more ways to help grow your money.
As a reminder, we have made the following changes:
We’ve changed your savings terms and conditions. You’ll be able to find your new Savings Terms within the Documents section located within Online Banking.
You have been given a new customer number. This customer number was sent to you via email when your account became a Chetwood Bank savings account.
You’ll need to create a new password with Chetwood Bank in order to access your Online Banking. If you haven’t done this yet, don’t worry, you can do so by clicking here.
Your account number has changed. The new number will appear in your Online Banking.
Rest assured that as part of your SmartSave savings account becoming a Chetwood Bank savings account we won’t ask you to change or confirm your full Nominated Current Account details. We also won’t ask you to withdraw or move any of your funds. If you are contacted, requesting these details, or are asked to make a withdrawal, then please contact us straight away.

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is an independent service that’s funded by the UK’s financial services industry.
It provides protection for customers whose savings have been lost when an authorised bank or financial services provider has gone out of business and can no longer return their savings.

This was sent to you via email at the point your account became a Chetwood Bank savings account.
You’ll just need to register with Chetwood Bank. You can use this page https://savings.chetwoodbank.co.uk/CreateNewPassword/BankFast-Username-Logon#sst to do this. You’ll be asked for your new Customer Number and will just need to go through a few simple steps to get your Online Banking set up.
